I can always tell when pancakes are ready to flip over because those little bubbles appear in the batter.
How can you tell when bacon is done in the oven?

I usually set a timer depending on the oven's temp. Then, I check the bacon and look to see if it looks cooked and is bubbly everywhere. It's a visual thing for me. If it looks cooked, then it usually is.

We usually set the timer for 10-12 minutes and then we check it and add a few minutes if necessary. Bacon, yum!

We go by look...if it looks done, then we're good. I think it's subjective bc people eat their bacon at varying degrees of doneness.

I look at it. Sometimes half the pan is done and the other half isn't.

I go by what they look like, we like them with a little crisp, but not burnt.
