On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being that it's so clean you'd eat off the floor and 10 being you'd run into your room and hide if someone showed up at your door?
I'd say ours is around a 3. It's pretty clean right now, but I'm wrapping presents tonight so I feel like it's going to look like a bomb went off afterwards.

Probably somewhere between a 5-6. D and I have both spent the past week trading off having the flu, and the place just fell apart a bit. It's not terrible, but it's mostly things like a huge pile of (clean) laundry and lots of random toys and books everywhere.

Yesterday, I had an issue with UVerse and was given just two hours to prepare for an AT&T rep to stop by our home. TWO HOURS!!! But, I didn't panic. 
All I had to do was make up our bed and clear off the kitchen countertops. I also had to change out of my jammies.
The house isn't spick & span clean, but what can you do when Santa's elves have taken residence in the dining room? And you're working from home in the family room *ahem* Mr. Lime with laptop cords & reports everywhere?

Like a 6. B "helped" me bake so there is flour EVERYWHERE. I also haven't cleaned up his toys yet so it looks like a tornado has hit our main floor.

2ish? I mean I wouldn't eat off the floors without vacuuming first but it's clean! Both DH and I get stressed if the apartment is too messy so we keep after it.

I said 2. We've been having guests drop in periodically this week so I did a major scrubbing over the weekend and have been keeping up with my usual cleaning routine each day. I have a big dog who keeps coming in with muddy paws so I wouldn't quite lick my floors or anything lol

Really high number. Not terrible but it is rough! DD was in the ER all day yesterday and still not feeling good. I have been busy taking care of her.

I voted 3. I haven't mopped in a week and a half nor have I vacuumed the hall/bedrooms since Thursday, just the daily sweeping, so I probably wouldn't eat off the floor but it's otherwise pretty clean. Our microwave needs so much help right now though....

My MIL arrived today which means we just had the cleaners in yesterday... my little treat for whenever grandparents visit.. it's so awesomely clean in here. I love it.

3 is about the best our home ever gets. We are at more like a 7 now. I am envious of all y'all in the bottom half of the scale. We have a lot of work ahead of us tomorrow.

2-3...I try to keep the house within a half hour of being presentable to guests!
I will freely admit though that we're coming off a bad week where DH was sick and left disaster in his wake. For a while it looked like we needed to call in a sitter for a few days to pick everything up!

I'll admit that I said 9. Our kitchen is like the tiniest galley kitchen in the world and even cooking one really simple meal turns it into a disaster. (Think single sink, no dishwasher, practically 0 counter space.) We also have a lot of clutter right now so you can barely see the top of our "dining room" table. And we have a crazy puppy who sheds a ton and haven't vacuumed since Saturday. Add the empty boxes from receiving packages and the detritus from wrapping tonight, and...it's bad. It's not DIRTY, just messy. Hopefully with a couple days off after Christmas we will back able get it under control.
