We have a birthday party this weekend & the theme is Minnie Mouse. My SIL asked if P had a Minnie shirt but alas she doesn't (actually that's a lie... I found one in a bag of clothes given to us but I don't like it). Anyhoo she has this Mickey shirt that was G's but its HUGE on her! You can see the sleeve that was rolled up twice compared to the other & it practically covers her shorts when standing (It's a 2T & she's still clearly in 12mth shirts).
I thought of tying it on the side & pairing it with some black capris or even these shorts. I also thought of adding a belt & making it like a shirt dress but with Mickey going down the whole front it looks weird. lol. I can't sew so making it into a dress or some other cute creation is out (I don't really want to alter it at all so she can wear it later & since it was G's and our future little ones can wear it too).
Any other ideas? Or does she just need to wear the patriotic Minnie shirt?
(The pics are blurry but the child just attacks me as soon as I'm in her vicinity these days so she's nearly impossible to photograph)
