    Oh, and I have a medical condition that has made EBFing impossible so far, so that brings my crunchy score down by a LOT, lol.

    I hate when people claim BF is crunchy. Its not. Its a biological process. Extended BF is crunchy, IMo, not just BF in general. Youre not automatically a crunchy, hippie mom because you BF and not automatically notone because you dont or cant.

    Im maybe like 10%? Lol. Hardly crunchy.

    @dagret: bahahahahahahahahahah ! Martin!

    I'm not crunchy. Started off wanting to try things but now I totally don't.

    I voted crunchy curious but I meant that literally...I'm curious but I don't do it.

    I'm partly crunchy I guess. We cloth diaper during the day. We babywear often but I have no problem with the stroller if it's more convenient. I plan on breastfeeding for as long as LO wants. I make my own detergent and some cleaning supplies and I cook most of our meals. We like to eat mostly organic. Im extremely particular about cosmetics and toiletries, and prefer to use natural things. But I'm all for vaccinations and hospital birthing. And I'm definitely not a minimalist, lol. We all have a lot of stuff and LO's nursery is pretty decked out. I guess my crunchiness is more about health? I don't know. I feel like I'm pretty crunchy compared to people I know in real life but barely at all by internet standards. I hate the term but I don't know what else to call it.

    I don't think there is anything crunchy about BF or cooking from scratch. It s very much the norm in so much of the world. I don't consider myself remotely crunchy, but I hate processed food and I BF.

    I consider myself pretty crunchy (although I'm beginning to question that term), but I certainly don't do "crunchy things" just to "be crunchy". That's absurd!

    I chose a natural birth/co-sleeping/alternative vaccine schedule/extended breast feeding/cloth diapering/baby wearing/etc because I believed these things were best for my child, not because I wanted to fit into the "crunchy group".

    Also - sorry but I don't consider breastfeeding "crunchy". It's biological, and very normal. Not "alternative" at all.
    I agree with @zippylef - breastfeeding does not make a person crunchy, and not being able to breastfeed certainly doesn't make a person not!
