It was surprisingly easy with my toddler (not much of a napoer these days) and really hard with the baby! She usually goes down fast but it took 20-30 minutes to get her to calm down today.

Went pretty easy. I nursed her for a bit on the couch & then went & put her on the bed. Said night night & left. She talked to herself for about 5 minutes then got comfy & went to sleep. Nap lasted just about 2 hours.

Pretty good! We kept her up past her morning nap time so we could go to the mall, where she slept in the beco for 45 minutes (that's about all she'll do in there). She went down without a peep when we got home for an hour and a half!

It went well but I woke her after 2 hours because it was after 4:30 and I want her to go to bed good tonight, so she wasn't happy with me about that.

Way better than they have been lately. Usually she gets upset and cries forever. Today just a little fussing before she fell asleep both times.

my toddler is napping, but have not been able to get my baby to nap beyond just 45 min... while attached to me! he is currently playing in his crib.. not crying... but i just want him to sleep already! he's been having a crappy nap month.

I think she has croup (coughing in her sleep last night, wheezing, barking cough, cranky and feverish)...she went down for her nap super early and passed out right away. She's coughing in her sleep but is staying asleep. I hope she gets a good 3+ hour nap!

@Mrs. High Heels: I cannot relax unless my LO is asleep...even if she's in her crib happy and playing it stresses me out when she doesn't nap.

@sandy: totally agree on not being able to relax unless he's napping enough.
Today has been a great nap day, but I just can't unlock the secret to have a good nap day most/all days, I'm still mystified by his (lack of) schedule.

Not great. If she falls asleep in the car sometimes I'm WISHING she'd wake up. But today I had o rub we back to get her back down mid-nap. And this girl only naps 1:20 a day usually!

My never-good-napper had an amazing 2 hour nap today!!! It only took playing in the pool and a swim class (50 min.) to wear her out like this I suppose! It makes me want to take her swimming everyday now. lol.
But, this was after really crappy naps yesterday (15 min, 19 min, and 30 min.)

Not good at all...she fought all three and only took 40-45 mins each time.

It went well! She was soooo tired and took a solid 2-hour nap! It's 6:40pm EST and she just went down for the night!

Crappy. 45 minute naps. Rocked for all of them and we're trying to get the apartment packed for moving. *sigh*

Today was abnormal, but it worked out fine. We went to a festival an hour away from our house, so DD slept in the car for most of the way there (maybe 45 minutes). That was almost 2 hours earlier than her normal nap time. Then she stayed awake through the festival and most of the afternoon. She napped again for 45 minutes on the car ride home in the late afternoon. Given the odd schedule, it was surprising that she was actually in a really great mood all day long!

He took a 3 hour nap today! I got to nap at the same time, which was amazing.

@Smurfette: @Elderberrygin: I'm so excited when we get 40-45 min. naps ever!
@Pepper: That DOES sound amazing!

Today was great, especially comparatively speaking. Three naps: 75 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes, all in his crib without any crying.

Non existent today, but we were traveling, so several mini naps, but nothing good until 4pm... which is why he didn't go down until now at almost 10 pm.
