How did you come up with your HB identity/name? Any alternatives before you settled on the one you are currently using?

My favorite color is yellow-green or chartreuse, but I am not a fan of spelling out chartreuse. I live in Florida where we grow lots of citrus. I thought about using Key Lime for a smidge.

We called LO "Baby Beluga" when I was pregnant and that's her favorite song. We also call her "Zoey Bean" and one day it got combined into "Beluga Bean".

@Weagle: Yeah, DH started singing it to my stomach one day and it stuck. Now it's one of the few songs that can make LO grin ear to ear when I start singing it. : )

Our last name rhymes with Smurf, and DH was called Pappa Last Name in college. Since we weren't together then, I figured Smurfette was a safe bet that no one would guess I would use this name. Plus I loved the Smurfs growing up.

My old name (Bebefly) is a nod to the fact I used to be in French immersion (bebe) and swimming, where butterfly was my favourite/best stroke. I've been using it since I was literally 13.
Sera_87 is half of seraphyna, is close to my actual name and then the numbers are my birth year. I switched it to match all my social media.

Mine is an old nickname. Along with other nicknames DH or friends have made up: anne diego, anne canyon, anne francisco.

Mine is my nickname DH gave me. I have no idea how he came up with it but it's some sort of spin off from baby/babe or something. It's pronounced Bay-oh I believe it's an Asian related word too, but I think it's pronounced differently in that case.

i have a unicorn tattoo and my wedding colour was purple...and so i came up with purpleunicorn for my weddingbee account and carried it over here.
however, the reason i have a unicorn tattoo is because i grew up reading all the Sweet Valley books (twins, high, university) and in the Twins series, there was the Unicorn Club where they had to wear purple everyday...hence how purple also became one of my favorite colors so i thought purple unicorn went well together for that reason too.

I don't know why, but when I was thinking of screen names, I thought of an incredulous person asking (in a hoity toity voice), "Cathy?"
And my response would be, slightly smug and confident, "Naturally. Who else?"

I picked twist as a handle on a punk rock community forum I was a part of when I was 15ish. It stuck. People in real life call me twist or twisted, or twistypoo. lol.

Media Naranja is a phrase in Spanish that means "other/better half" or "soulmate." It also means (literally) "half of an orange." DH is a native Spanish speaker, and we communicate in Spanish, so the phrase gets thrown out a lot at our house. The avatar is self-explanitory, lol. Half of an orange!
