Travel - we met in China on a small group holiday. Our attraction to each other persevered through three weeks of food poisoning, pollution induced illnesses (nothing like coughing up massive globules of black mucus at dinner), monkey bites, rabies shots, lost passports, etc. I knew he was a keeper when none of those things fazed him in the slightest!

We met through work. Managed to get married and have a baby and still not everyone knew about us until I brought in the baby to visit.

@mrsjyw: Work. We have a really similar story. I was her "boss." Although not against the rules it was hush hush and followed by so much gossip and drama. I transferred to a different position and she was my replacement.

I voted friend/family because we met at a wedding reception. My friend who was his cousin.

I was really in to DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) and so was he. We met at our local arcade while playing the game.

Blind date setup up by my good friend. we found out 7 years later when she got drunk at her bachelorette party that it was a big joke because all our friends thought we would HATE each other...how rude!!! lol. The joke is on them now!
