I took a legit sick day today, pregnant with our first LO, and all I did was sort out insurance mishaps over the phone (1.5 hrs!), order Christmas gifts online, take care of work emails, put out work fires, barely had time for lunch. I did manage a 10-minute nap, though!

I sat on the couch with some kleenexes, watched CSI Miami, took a half hour nap....and just laid there in my grossness.

My last sick day was in July when we had food poisoning. NOT FUN!
Before that it was December 2013. I had strep throat, some kind of weird septic thing in my tonsils and pnemonia. Also not fun! But I would take that over food poisoning.

I am a SAHM so I don't really get sick days...but lo and i are both sick today and it is cold and rainy outside, so we have watched an absurd amount of TV and laid around in our pj's all day.

A legit sick day? My last was probably 4 years ago.
I'm sick right now and so far today I've worked, done a load of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, packed up the baby's 3m clothes and sorted more of Chloe's toys.

I took 1.5 days the other week - the first half day was just me at home, and I watched tv on amazon prime and took a 3 hour nap. The next day, L was sick too, and we laid on the couch and watched rudolph a zillion times.

Sahm too, so it's not quite a sick day, but I have been dealing with a yucky stomach bug. DH came home early yesterday so I could laze around. Today I definitely have been lazy- easiest possible meals for the baby, TV, currently letting her take out the contents of a cabinet. I did nap while she napped- but not long enough!

I think that I probably did most of my normal stuff, since I am at home with the kids, but also sent my DH a couple of emails saying how crappy I was feeling.

@alohaorchid: my last one was food poisoning too! Ugh! So I basically just laid on the couch and threw up all day.

My last sick day was about a year ago when I had norovirus. I was in my first trimester and already exhausted so I threw up and slept all day 
Maybe watched a lifetime movie or two.

Well I took a sick day last Friday due to LO having pink eye. I was productive while she napped and finished my Christmas cookies, and then I did all laundry and disinfected the house.
My last sick day for myself was in my first trimester and I was too weak to get out of bed from dry heaving all night. It was my one and only time I felt truly awful.

I took off yesterday afternoon. I napped when E napped then we both watched cartoons and sat miserably on the couch.

I took a sick day on Monday. The first one all year because I woke up feeling terrible thanks to a cold and morning sickness. I slept in for an hour after emailing my boss. Answered emails most of the morning and took an hour long nap then more email and conference calls before a 2 1/2 hour nap to end the day. Not as relaxing as I would have liked but the naps helped!

All my sick days are spent taking care of LO. Because if I don't go to work, she can't get to daycare (it's an hour from where we live). Basically, I never get a sick day.
