Baby's up at her usual time (adjusted) and it looks like her big sis will wake up later than normal so they both did good! I kept them both up later last night.

@swedishfish: oh noooooo, teeth! hope mommy can nap today!

Up at 6, which is what I expected since he's usually up at 7.

Went to bed later (late nap yesterday) but still work to at normal unadjusted time (6:30 unadjusted, 5:30 adjusted).

I went out on a limb and woke him up to feed him around 6:00am (adjusted time) to try and convince him to sleep a bit later. Working well so far, it is now 6:43 (adjusted) and if he sleeps until 7:00am I'll be happy. His normal wakeup is between 7:00am and 7:45am.
Now we just have to try and keep him up until 7:00pm and get him back on schedule.

No idea since she was up a ton during te night. So she just woke up at 7, which is her usual-ish, but I guess it's late since it would have been 8? But yeah she was up for a few hours and went to bed late since we were out. Not a great night. Hoping to convince her to go back to sleep after this feeding.

She went to bed late last night (7:20), and she was in our room to nurse at the new 4 a.m. Nursed/slept more until 6ish. Which is about right. Hoping tonight is going to go alright. I am worried she will be ready for bed at 4!

up at usual time gonna try to fall back asleep while daddy e entertains him

I took the Weissbluth advice that earlier bedtime = sleep later, and it worked! We put her to bed earlier and she woke up about an hour and 20 minutes later than normal.

My parents have her, ( of course when I can sleep in I can't) and said she woke up at 5, which was 6 her normal time.

Kids went down at normal time. DS woke up at 6am. Dd slept til 7am. Not bad!

He was ready to play at 6 (5 adjusted). 6-7 is normal around here. Going to be a long day.

4:30am, which is his normal time of 5:30am. Unfortunately he fell asleep about an hour earlier than normal because we were in the car. Hoping to move things back to normal today.

She was still sleeping when I left for work at 6:20, so I'm happy with that!
Although that means I won't have seen her at all Saturday or Sunday
nectarine / 2132 posts
he woke up at 7, his usual wake up time, except that it would have been 8, so i'm calling it a win!
nectarine / 2771 posts
She woke up at her usual time, so 630am adjusted (730am unadjusted). Pretty good, considering I had to put her down earlier than usual last night since she was exhausted after a busy day out.

I don't know, he was at my parents house, lol. I usually pawn him off on DST, lol.
He can tell time now, though, so I can tell him he can't show his face until after 7.

Woke up at 5am but played in bed and sang to herself for two hours before DH got her at 7am. Baby was up every two hours last night so she doesn't count right now.

N is still sleeping. It is nearly 8 am here. So I expect he will be getting up soon. He normally gets up between 7:30- 9:30 tho.

@Smurfette: me too! Why won't my body let me sleep?? In fact, we were at a fancy hotel and I slept terribly!

LO had a rough period in the middle of the night that meant she ended up sleeping later than usual even with the time change. She usually wakes up at 7 and she got up at 7:20 adjusted so she was a lazy bones
watermelon / 14467 posts
She did well, but mainly because her sleep was crappy yesterday and the day before, so I think it's a result of being utterly exhausted.
pear / 1610 posts
we failed… he has been sleeping 7:30-7:30… last night was 8:15-5:30. we are all tired.
pomelo / 5073 posts
Total crap. Thought we were going to have a great night and that didn't happen. I need her to fall back asleep, which she is fighting right now, so I can pack and load up the car because we are going down to our other house today. DH is already down there so he can't help and he doesn't really get why it might be hard to pack and load a car and drive with a LO.
pomelo / 5326 posts
So far so good! She woke up at 7:15 (adjusted) and is usually up around 8 so seems about right. I don't think the time change will affect her at 2.5 months.
pomegranate / 3275 posts
Mine did so well!!!! DS slept in a later than normal and DD slept even later than that I'm quit pleased and even at 31 weeks huge, I mean pregnant, I feel pretty rested! I think Spring Forward is worse than Fall Back though....

No little one yet, but the dog missed the DST memo So we're up now, and have been for a while.

He woke at his normal time but then fell back asleep so we both slept in! The cat and the dog both missed the memo though....

LO is still asleep but the baby just woke up!

@lawbee11: I wish that worked for us. earlier bed time almost always means earlier wakeup.
DD woke at her usual time...6:00am, so really 5:00!

The girls did great! They woke at 7 (which would have been 8)...only because they both had late night awakenings.
pear / 1718 posts
He missed the memo too! Awake at his usual time (5:45am), which was 4:45am today. Ooof! At least we got a lot done this morning...
