We have two dogs and I am wondering when/how to prepare them for the new baby. I honestly think our Golden Retriever will be fine. Curious, but fine. Our pug, on the other hand, is attached at my hip. DH calls him my soul familiar because wherever I am, Dewey is not far behind. I worry that he is going to be jealous of the baby taking the attention away from him. I don't think he would be aggressive at all but I do worry about him taking it out on my house! He already has dominance issues with the Golden.

How did your pets react? Did you do anything to prepare them before hand or just hope for the best?
