From what I remember, it seems like my RE calculated due date with LMP with DD. But, I've heard that some calculate by date of ovulation (which would be day of IUI for me). How did your RE calculate yours?

My RE used LMP, even though I did IVF and we knew precisely how old the embryos were. It was within two days, anyway, so it didn't really matter.

He calculated the twins due date by my iui date. For DS it was lmp because we didn't have any treatment that cycle.

My first pregnancy was iui date because it was a long cycle (iui was on cd22). My second pregnancy was LMP as my iui was on cd15.

@CatchAFallingStar: lmp even though like you, we knew the exact date of ovulation.

@meganmp: I had about a two-day discrepancy with my son, and my labor didn't start until 10 days after my due date. So those two days mattered a lot to me because it affected when I would have to cave and schedule an induction!

Mine was calculated based on LMP but my OB would have adjusted if there was a discrepancy with the 8 week growth ultrasound. I was only measuring 1 day off with the ultrasound so he stuck with the LMP date.

@ElbieKay: I had to schedule and induction with my overdue twins as well! My OB and RE were best friends, so they consulted with each other and my husband and I before everything was set.

My RE used LMP but my IUI was lined up with a standard 28 day cycle so either would have worked in my case.
