Stupid question but how do you know? She is drooling a lot, increase in spit up, fuzzier, and will just start crying for no reason. DH and I think we feel something when we rub her gums but we don't know what we should be feeling or what they should look like.

Honestly, starting at 5 months, if LO was fussy, we were like, "Oh he's teething". He started drooling a ton, chewing on EVERYTHING, rubbing his gums, etc. He didn't get a tooth til 9 months. Not to say she's not teething right now, but there's no way to know, and teething can be a looong process.
The only sign I noticed right before his tooth popped up was that he had a runny nose and was grabbing at his ears.
If you think she's uncomfortable you can try natural remedies, like camilia or teething tablets.

@hilsy85: I know drool increases at this age so I wasn't sure if it is teething. She just wasn't herself this weekend. I know that if she is teething it can be months before a tooth pops up. So hard. I just wish I knew how to make her feel better.
