I do all the cooking, except Mr. Bee makes eggs with Charlie every morning, and we almost never eat out. But I just asked Mr. Bee to prepare one meal a week. I hate cooking! He said maybe he'll try cooking on weekends.
How do you and your SO divide cooking?

I cook T/Th, DH M/W, Friday we usually go out or get takeout, and we cook together on weekends.

I cook lunch/dinner during the week and DH is SUPPOSED to cook on the weekends, but i still end up making lunches which annoys me. I don't mind cooking, but i hate that i have to stress out about what we're going to eat at the last minute.

My husband enjoys cooking, so we're pretty even on this one. I think he would like it if he didn't have to cook on week nights, but it's hard for me because I put the baby to bed every night right around dinner time, so it makes more sense if he starts cooking while I'm busy nursing/rocking/etc. We are guilty of getting takeout a lot, though. It's just too hard to cook every meal with our schedules.

I cook. Hubs doesn't. He's great about running out to pick up food though. And because he doesn't cook, he doesn't give me a hard time if we eat pretty much the same thing several days in a row. Also, he does ALL of the dishes.

I do all the cooking. I enjoy it and he doesn't. He also doesn't complain when I need a break from it and we have to get take out or eat cereal. Tonight is one of those nights.

Since I'm on mat leave, I cook on weekdays and he cooks on the weekend. But normally he does most of the cooking while I clean up afterwards.

DH is the meat guy and I do the sides, a lot of the time though its a pretty easy meal because DH works 2nd shift so we don't go all out for lunch.

I'm on maternity leave right now so I get dinner prepared most nights, if it's not finished by the time he gets home, he'll pitch in and finish. DH makes breakfast on weekends and we just talked about it last week and he is going to pick up a little weekend dinner slack now too.

my husband can make cereal. that's about it. i guess i can also give him a little credit for grilling, but just a little.

It's kind of tough; DH travels about 80% for work, so he isn't home often.
He'll usually be back on the weekends or for a day or two here and there, and we'll usually just order food in (awful, I know). If he is home for an extended period of time, he gets bored so he'll cook while I'm at work. Other times, he usually handles making/grilling meat/main dish, and I'll take care of the potatoes/salads/sides/etc.

I do it all. But I get migraines so I cant always cook....and he'll get us take out. It works for us.

We both love to cook, but DH gets home too late through the week to cook. So I cook on week nights and DH cooks on weekends. We get take out on Friday nights.

I used to be a house wife (briefly) and a teacher (for awhile)--and DH used to cook once a month or so... but when I got a job with a huge commute I fell apart and asked him for help.
We started with each cooking 3x/week, and the 7th day we'd cook together or eat out or do something easy like "from frozen" stuff.
Since LO arrived, he has cooked twice. LO is 5 months but I am a SAHM now.

He's usually my sous chef and often does the dishes too... It's nice today I had an evening client meeting, and so I prepped and started the jambalaya. then I gave him directions on how to finish cooking it before I left... And it was ready to eat when I got home. Tag team cooking!
