@NovBaby1112: same here! It annoys me so badly when DH sleeps later than I want him to, lol--but I'd rather have him sleep than be awake and be cranky and complain about being tired!

We both get up. I think each of us feels guilty if we sleep in...and I really can't sleep, anyway, when I know the kids are awake.
If one of us is really tired or sick, we definitely give each other the morning off

@hilsy85: that is the worst! I hate when DH wakes up at 9, and then is tired and needs a long nap in the afternoon. I really, really hope our second child inherits his sleeping gene, lol

@NovBaby1112: OMG I KNOW. IT drives me crazy when DH naps--I'm like, you're a grown man! Grown men don't nap!

We alternate getting up on the weekends and sleeping in. My husband's ideal sleeping schedule is from about 4 am to noon, so adjusting to having a kid was really hard for him. He really values getting to sleep in one weekend day. Now that we're going to church, we just have one day, so I guess we'll alternate weekends.

DH works 7 days a week so I get baby duty 24/7. If we're on vaca, DH will help take care of diaper changes, but since he's so used me caring for DS, he'll wake me up should DS get fussy past like a minute! lol Otherwise, he'll try to entertain as long as he can so I can get a few extra minutes of sleep. DS is 6 months old.

We both get up, we always have, even when I was at home and my husband was working.
