I haven't bought my winkel yet, but I'll probably handwash with soap and water. Then soak it in vinegar water for a bit.

yep just handwash in soap and water. i used to take a big plastic container and fill it with warm soapy water then dump all the plastic toys in it, let it soak a little while, then rinse. esp after charlie was sick.

Haha, I was like...what's a winkel toy? But I just posted a picture of Sienna with one.
I handwash it with soap and water, but @Mrs. Bee that's smart. I think I'll do that as well. Clean all the toys at once.

sometimes I throw it in the sterilizer and sometimes warm water & soap. I wash it daily because it goes everywhere with her so she plays with it immediately after leaving daycare.
We call it wickel. hehe

@chopsuey119: I started using vinegar to clean berries after Mrs. Bee instagrammed it! I'm LOVING the difference it makes! I'll have to look up some 'recipes' for household cleaner with it - like ratios and all that good stuff.

@chopsuey119: oh thanks for the tip. I will try it out. I usually use baking soda to clean stuff but I will try this vinegar out too. Is it just regular white vinegar? Isnt it very strong smelling?
