I have a 2 year old child and she often have tantrums. Sometimes my patient is near on its end but I have to deal with my beloved child. I often talk to her about the things that she want so she will follow me when given a reward. Anyway, as a parent, how do you deal with your child's tantrums?

I ignore and walk away.
We tell her to use her words, they're more powerful, and we would love to help her/get her what she needs but we can't understand whining or screaming.
It takes her all of 15 seconds to calm down, and then one of us says something like "are you ready for us to help you?"
Whining and tantrums are my kryptonite.
