We don't get snow where we live in SoCal, but we do have a family vacation home in the mountains for skiing. Last winter it was pretty mild when we took K in the Spring and she was a newborn. Just put her in a BG puffy bundler and kept her covered with blankets all the time.
This winter she'll be more active, but not walking yet (probably). We don't go up too often (maybe once a month or two). What kinds of clothes do you think she will need for snowy/windy weather? I don't think I'll take her outside too much. She will be 9 months the first trip we go up.
So far I have:
- Fleece BG pants (just ordered)
- Puffy/quilted BG jacket
- Lots of beanies
- Blankets
- Furry boots (Old Navy - not sure how wind resistant they really are?)
So, cold-weather Bees - what else do I need to get for basics? At that age, you think just still keeping her in the stroller with blankets is pretty good? Or that she'll want to crawl around and I need water-proof stuff? Do they have mittens for this age? We were gifted some, but they're huge.
