So when I first heard about cookbooks for how to hide vegetables in your kids' food, I thought it was a terrible idea. You shouldn't teach kids vegetables are bad! Encourage them to eat their vegetables through talking about colors, shapes, having them cook with you!
Then I realized how I love all those pinterest recipes where you are swapping out fruits and veggies for high calorie ingredients. Black bean brownies! Zucchini and greek yogurt muffins! Applesauce oatmeal cake! Cauliflower mac n cheese!
I don't want to be "sneaking" veggies in, I suppose. But I don't mind adding them to foods!
What do you think? Good or bad? Any favorite hidden veggie recipes?
