I picture Bohdi from Point Break, so that isn't a terrible thing because I LOVE me some Patrick Swayze! Other people might think Bode Miller which, to me, is a similar vibe. I'd say it is a surfer feeling for sure, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Go with what you love!

I don't necessarily think it "goes with" Theodore, but I don't think sibling names really need to be similar to each other.

@MrsGeePerez: i do, yes. More than Ted or Theodore anyway. But I definitely wasn’t trying to imply that the names should go together, especially as kids grow older I think that matters less. Full disclosure though, my second son is a Theo and Owen was one of my top choices for #3, due in a couple months. If you guys love Bodhi, I think that’s what you should go with!

I think it's a boho name, but that's not a bad thing! It's sweet and different (but definitely not "out there") and I think you should go for it if you like it!

I have a co worker who has both your son(s) names. Theodore (Theo) and Bodhi. I never thought anything of either name (not my style) but they fit her boys well! Go for what makes you as parents happy! Everyone will give you input anyways!

we named our third daughter Bodie last year. I love it and it fits her. I heard (what i think are) wacky names all the time so i figured i can name her whatever i want and feel good about it!

I love that name. Theo and Bodhi are cute together. I wanted to name DS2 Bodhi. DH wasn’t sold. His name is theo!

Not hippie so much as a little unique. I really like it and hear it quite a bit in my circle!

@MrsGeePerez: I love the name.... it was one of our top names for our second son, BUT, we had a hard time with it being a "grown-up" name, whatever that means. So we didn't go with it. What is SO funny is that looking at our son (now 3) we totally think he looks like a Bodhi! We've told him that was almost his name and for a while he told us to call him Bodhi instead, haha!!

We were thinking of Boden as a full name and Bodie as a NN too...

I think it's becoming more popular as I now know 4 or 5 Bodhi's/Bodie's/Boden's actually

I don’t love it- mostly because there is not a more professional nickname.

I don't mind the name, but find the spelling off-putting. I like Bowden or Boden with the nickname of Bodie much more

I know someone naming their kid Bodie soon. I would imagine that there would be name spelling issues with Bodhi and the variations. Just throwing it out there.
