DS is really into Thomas. I have to say I'm feeling lucky that he's into this show. Some shows completely annoy me (voices/character actions) and others have some pretty crappy lessons in them, but I'm pretty happy with Thomas so far. Is your LO into Thomas? How do you like him?

I love Thomas and Friends, but my son is over them...he's into Cars now.

C is into Thomas. However, I will say I find some of the episodes to show the trains with less than ideal personalities (i.e., some of them are just mean or jerks). But overall we're good with Thomas. I do need breaks some times and refuse to put Thomas on when I've had my fill.

All of DH's nephews and cousins were head over heals for Thomas. I'm okay with Thomas - don't love but don't hate. I have a feeling we'll be inheriting a lot of Thomas the Train toys.... Yikes!
@looch: I love Cars!! I prefer that over Thomas.

I hate thomas. Maybe I've just watched too much of it, or as pp said, some of the personalities are kinda crappy. But I just HATE him.
I JUST got rid of all our thomas train crap from when our two boys were young and I am going to hope no one gives us any more for L. there are plenty of other toys (CARS!) that he can play with. I don't even care if we get a different train set, but please oh please, no more thomas!

C doesn't care for him too much (she's 19 months). She likes "choo-choos" so she tolerates watching him just to see trains. Their faces creep me out

My daughter loooooves thomas. I don't know why. She watched one episode randomly when she was around 22 months old and then started demanding anything choochoo related. Just bought her a few thomas books and she loves it when we read them to her but the books have awful writing and it's painful to read.
I'm meh about thomas. There are shows I find much more annoying. I don't get why the engines are so obsessed w / being useful

I really dislike the show (the engines are really mean to each other) and how expensive the toys are (I am happy to buy him any other type of train, but these are ridiculous to me). I really try to avoid him watching the show whenever we can.

i don't mind them (yet), but i have a feeling DS will be into them if we choose to bring it around. He has a thomas book that is already one of his faves. and he loves his wooden train.

I don't have feelings either way. He just got a thomas train and loves it - but hasn't seen the show.

never seen the show, and he was one train that was gifted but i am hoping he doesnt get into it just because of how expensive the toys are! i nearly had a heart attack when i looked at how much those little thomas trains cost!!
