DH and I are going to be doing a "stage one" revamp of our lovely, pink retro kitchen in a couple months. We're just trying to make do for a couple years until we can plan a remodel.

We're working with cream laminate cabinets, pink countertops, and white backsplash tile.

We were considering doing the "tuxedo" cabinets, where you do the uppers in white and the lowers in black. We were looking into a concrete overlay material for the counters, which would be gray.

Do you dig this look? Bad idea? Last one is what the counters will end up like.
