How do you feel about your stretch marks post partum?

The ones on my torso (they run from my breast all the way down) I am fine with. The saggy skin is a little gross but it's all under clothes. My legs do really embarrass me. I had huge water retention in the last few weeks of my first pregnancy and I have stretch marks all down my legs. I have always worn modest clothing so it doesn't bother me too much but I would like to wear knee length skirts or shorts sometimes.

I hate them because theyre in places that are tougher to cover up -my calves (and inner thighs, which i dont care about as much). AND they showed up after pregnancy!

I'm only 4 weeks pp, so they are still really purple, but they don't really bug me. It's not like I ever wore a bikini before, so I won't be missing anything. If anything, I think they look goofy - lookin' like a zebra.

I'm ok with mine (and I have a fair few!) and I'll continue to wear a bikini because they're NORMAL and I refuse to feel ashamed or be embarrassed by them.

I've come to terms with them. The saggy elephant skin is much more... distracting. But next summer I'm wearing a bikini anyways, darn it. I've posted as much elsewhere - I want my son to know I'm not ashamed... and to shock onlookers

I have about 60 4-8 inch long, purple, stretch marks. My tummy looks like a roadmap. I hated them. I thought they would fade but at 16months they haven't changed.

Now I own them. My little guy is walking and breathing and loving his mama, so it was all worth it. I don't think I"m ever going to have a bikini body anyway

I've had a pretty big, very noticeable scar on my stomach since I was 9, so a few lines that will fade, and that stand for carrying and birthing my babies, really don't bother me!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I'll show you (I realize that sounds creepy but you know, we actually see each other in person haha!). I had an emergency appendectomy as a kid that got seriously infected and then the scar attached itself to the fascia, which caused it to pull as I grew. So, at 20, I had to have it cut back open, detached from the inside, and was left with a longer scar. I've had a scar there for 20 years, that's shown with every swimsuit I've worn, so I'm used to having tummy marks.
