How do you feel about your wedding set if you've been married awhile?

i lost my e ring over a year ago and i miss it we have been talking about getting me a new ring and i will get the same cut/shape, but probably also will get an upgrade in size (from 1/4 to 1/3 or 1/2 carat) as when DH got the original ring, we were both grad students and had a very low budget.

Mine is super simple - solitaire round, plain platinum bands. I know I will love it forever!

Married almost 4 years and I still love my wedding set. I want another band on the top (I have my fingers crossed i get it for our 5 year anniversary to represent the addition of our kids.) I wouldn't' have been upset with a bigger center diamond, but I still think it is beautiful.

I lost the stone from my engagement ring earlier this year so I just have my wedding band now. It's not as dainty as I would like but DH crafted it himself, then we had diamonds set into it so it's very sentimental.

My husband gave me his grandmother's emerald cut ring. Still love it after 18 years. My band is gold and matches his ring. I think he would choose something different now and I would probably get silver instead of gold, but I have no plans to change it.

I have an heirloom engagement ring and a tiny diamond band that contours to the ring and I love it!

I really do love my ring; but I wish I had looked at other styles or tried some on before the current set was made. DH designed it and did a great job, but I find myself lusting after other sets. I'd love to do something with it in the future, but I doubt that will happen.

My setting is fairly uncommon, which I do love.

I love my set a lot. I added a band for LO after he was born. It goes between my wedding band and engagement ring.

Sometimes, I pine for an asscher cut diamond, but other times I don't. The asscher cut is a mix of princess and round. My brother proposed to my SIL with a princess cut. I was smitten with the cut and never thought about other cuts at the time. My husband picked a beautiful, super sparkly princess cut I still love, so that stops me from really wanting a different cut.

Married just over 5 years and still love them but they are not a set. My wedding band is wide and flat and only cost us a few bucks and it is perfect for me. My e ring has a tiny stone in it but it has a slit in the band and is thick and wide, I don't wear it every day because I work in an operating room and worry about bacteria in it. I wear it on my right hand when I'm being "fancy" - aka not wearing scrubs

We've been married for nearly 8 years and I would not change it. I rarely wear my engagement ring (it's pretty tall), but I love my wedding and anniversary bands.

I still love and will always love my engagement ring. My husband worked really hard to make sure I loved it (enlisted the help of my best friend, which I loved!) and it was just what I wanted. It's a cushion cut solitaire on a pave band. My wedding band matches. If I was choosing myself now I think I'd get something a little more simple... plain band and a lower setting just because I think my tastes are a little plainer now and because I find myself not wearing my e-ring much anymore because it gets in the way. But I'd never change it I just wear my wedding band mostly and save my e-ring for more special occasions.
