By how my clothes fit for sure! I do weigh myself but if my clothes aren't tight it doesn't bother me as much!

How my clothes fit is my #1 indicator. I should take measurements but I don't like getting hung up on numbers (although these are a much better indicator of progress than weight).
I think everyone should throw out their scales!!!

How much easier everyday activities are. Postpartum I could barely walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded. Now I can walk/run up a flight of stairs.

I gauge my progress on how clothes fit and how I feel about my endurance level.
Muscle also weighs more than fat, so the scale should never matter.

1. How my pants fit, since my waist is usually where I gain weight
2. If I'm working out, if I am progressively doing harder workouts, more reps, heavier weights, etc...
The only time I step on a scale is at the doctor's! I never pay attention to the # b/c it fluctuates so much for so many reasons.

i don't own a scale and try not to weigh myself--it's bad for my head. also, when i work out and gain muscle, i'm not happy about the growing number on the scale. i go by how my clothes fit and how i feel overall (energy, knowing that i've been eating healthy, etc.).

So i do use a scale, but i use it in conjunction with everything else. I use waist measurements, body fat %, how my clothes fit, and how strong I am getting. PRs are awesome.

How my clothes fit and how I can manage my workouts. Once they become easier, I know I'm making progress and can challenge myself more.

I use a scale, but I also do measurements and I have body fat calipers (I do the 3 point measurement, waist, arm, thigh).

How my clothes fit. I can tell if I am losing weight and if I am becoming more tone.
How sore I feel post-workout. The more I go to the gym the better the recovery.

How my clothes fit, how I look in the mirror, and if I'm increasing my weights at the gym.

I use a scale, but I'm happier with the difference I see in the mirror than the numbers dropping. Also how much easier work outs get.
