Do you strap your baby to you and carry her in a baby carrier or do you put the carseat in the buggy and get just a few things you can fit in the seat area of the cart? How in the world is this done?
My husband has been doing our grocery shopping for the past 7 weeks. I'm ready to start getting back to real life, though and doing some chores myself - with M.

For the first few months he was in the moby, then as he got older I wore him in the beco. Now my favorite carrier for grocery shopping is the maya ring sling - it has allowed him to take naps while we're out. He lasts A LOT longer if I'm carrying him than if he's in his carseat, especially at an early age.

depends on the store. sometimes we will just put her carseat on top of the shopping cart, but some stores have really annoying carts and the car seat doesnt lock into them, so in that case I will wear her in our baby bjorn carrier

Baby wear or car seat in the cart. Our supermarket has carts that you can use for infants. They have a reclining seat so that is useful. You can just wipe it down with the sanitizing wipes that they provide because it is plastic.

i baby wear or put the car seat at the top--it clips into the upper basket.

I am short, so I can't see over the baby bucket in the cart. I love babywearing. Just put him in the beco and go, he could nurse etc. It is actually harder now that he is 15 months old because he wants to walk and move.

I always wear LO. I'm too scared to put her car seat on the top. It doesn't seem safe to me.

I use my front carrier (mostly because my toddler has to sit in the cart) but my safety 1st car seat carrier won't snap into carts like my son's graco did so that's another reason I have to use the front carrier instead.

I stuck our infant car seat in the grocery cart during the early weeks and then started wearing my LO when she got older.

We also use the stroller as the shopping cart. I bring reusable bags and put all of my groceries in them as I shop.
I put the carseat in the shopping cart once because I didn't have the stroller with me and I hated it! It felt really unstable.

My LO didn't like to baby wear so I had DH do the shopping, or he watched LO while I did it, or I asked my mom to do it for me. It's nice now that LO can sit in the cart!

For quick trips I used the stroller basket as my shopping cart. For bigger trips I put the carseat in the top of the cart (where an older child normally sits) right in front of my face and used the rest of the cart to hold the groceries. They sit kinda high but it works!

I wear our LO- her seat doesn't fit in Lowe's food carts and when it sits in the middle it takes up 1/2 the cart. Or if she is asleep DH handles the cart and I take her in the stroller.

If I have to go with the kids, I wear DS and put DD in the cart. Usually, though, DH and DD complete our weekly shopping on Sunday, so I rarely have to run to the store with both kids.

I'm short, so putting the car seat in the top part of the shopping cart wasn't an option because I couldn't see. So, I either did small trips with him in the basket or stroller. Otherwise, I did larger trips with DH, so one had the stroller and one had the cart. I personally couldn't get into baby wearing, but of we haw another child I'm pretty sure I'll have to figure it out to survive.
