I'm interested in this too. Baby Ninja is drooling a lot too, and at 4.5 mo, I'm sure the teeth are coming soon.

I realized B was teething when I would try and breastfeed him and he would throw back his head in pain and would not latch on again. Other signs are excessive drooling. If you look in their mouth their gums will be red/swollen and when you feel the gums you can usually feel the tooth that is breaking the skin.

LO did all of those things for months before any teeth showed up! For probably 5 months I blamed everything on teething, but no teeth came in until he was almost 10 months! So I have no advice. Lol. I didn't know for sure he was teething until a tooth starting coming up!

LO is 7 months today, and I could have sworn he was teething around 4 months, but his 1st tooth just popped through yesterday. He drooled excessively and chewed on everything in site for about 3 months, and then just last week I noticed his gums were red + swollen. A day later I noticed a tiny break in the gum line, followed by seeing the actual tooth underneath the surface. It took about a week for his tooth to break through the gum line all the way. Now, he's working on cutting his 2nd tooth as we speak.

Our doctor told us LO was teething at 4 months (she saw the tooth slits). Well shes 6 month and she is still teething, no tooth has popped up yet. DH is with her and he said she is very fussy and clingy and I told him to give her some tylenol but he is too scared to.
