I used to be die hard wriggly but dh only likes crispy and he's converted me!

I bake it to get it to the right chewy consistency which is right before it gets crispy. I let a few pieces continue to cook for my crispy husband.

I'm so happy to not check the bottom box anymore! I always have a horrible pregnancy aversion to bacon.

@lemondrop: Oh, I did too! First time I threw up when I was pregnant it was from smelling bacon frying!
I bake mine to get it to the right consistency. slightly crispy on the outside, slightly chewy on the inside.

I loooove soggy bacon w/ lots of fat.... Muahaha. No one ever fights me so I get to eat as much of it as I want!

When I order at diners, I always say "burned" -- I love bacon when it's super crispy, but it grosses me out any other way. (I also had a bacon aversion while pregnant -- weird!)

Not a fan of bacon, but on the weird off chance I'm craving it or it's the only breakfast meat available, I prefer crispy.
