I like mine with meat sauce with mushrooms. I don't mind turkey but DH will only eat it with beef! I prefer regular pasta but I'm trying to make myself like wheat pasta....

I either like spaghetti bolognaise (but I use soy meat), or just spaghetti with tomato sauce and veggies thrown in.

I prefer Angel Hair pasta with a little meat sauce and mushrooms and onion. DH likes thick spaghetti with HEAVY meat sauce and no veggies what so ever.

Angel hair with plain marinara sauce and lots of good romano cheese. Yummm. It's what we had last night, actually! Sometimes I'll add a meatball in there.

Regular pasta, lots of meat sauce. Like 2x more meat sauce than necessary. Beef only, sometimes meatballs. DH adds lots of peppers, but i'm not that big into spicy stuff.

i like good ol' regular spaghetti and meat sauce. i love meatballs too, but i'm usually too lazy to make them. definitely no wheat and no turkey! my sil makes the wheat/turkey combo... she swears you can't taste a different, but OH, you can!

I prefer rigatoni with a chunky sauce ... And lots of parmesean cheese! Or, with a spicy shrimp sauce, thickened with goat cheese. Man, I miss that!

Love smart taste thin spaghetti (tastes like regular pasta, but with more fiber & calcium), trader joe's turkey meatballs, and trader joe's marinara yummmm!

Whole wheat pasta, cooked al dente, LOTS of sauce that is FULL of chunky veggies, topped with parm. If meat is going to be involved, I prefer a small amount of Italian sausage to ground beef/turkey.

I love regular spagetti, which must be al dente! Lots of tomato sauce with onions, mushrooms and not too much meat.

Bumping this old thread! I like it aglio e olio (garlic and olive oil) best but I also like meat or vodka sauce.

@tofuwad: I'm with you - all the ways! But carbonara is a yummy quick and easy dinner! Too bad DH won't eat spaghetti (or any other long noodles).

I grew up on regular white noodles, but as I grew older we added in a bit of whole wheat. None of us could stand the complete switch to whole wheat.
As for the sauce, to me it's has to have mushrooms and hambuger (although ground pork has passed the test).
Hubby seems ok with how I make it, but finds it too thick sometimes. So I make an effort to add some liquid.

Beef meat sauce with chopped onions and green bell peppers and red wine in the sauce. Regular white spaghetti. Crushed red chili flakes on top, a little parm, and buttered bread on the side!
I prefer whole wheat pasta when I make a spicy marinara simmered with lots of chopped kale - for some reason that combo is delicious! Especially if you add some goat cheese on top!

Chicken spaghetti- chicken, to-tel, velveeta, and cream of mushroom. I really need to figure out homemade alternatives for basically all of that, because we're trying to be healthier, but I don't want to give it up!

I like pretty much all pasta, all the ways. But for classic spaghetti, I like regular spaghetti noodles with a tomato base sauce with onions, garlic, red pepper, and parsley, with either meatballs or chicken sausage. And parmesean on top. Mmm.
