I have the clothes in clear totes right now and divided by size. The newborn, 0-3 and 3-6 month clothes are in the dresser/changing table. The others are staying in the tote for now. When we move into our new house, I'm hoping to organize the closet by size and have everything easily accessible so when she grows I won't need to search for the next size up. And I have everything pre-washed, so it's ready to go!

I'm pregnant with my first now, so I can only give second hand information. My godkids' mom kept basics in the top drawer of her changing table - the current size and the next size up (they were late spring babies, so those were all onesies) - along with diapers, wipes, and pacifiers. Things that weren't changed out often but still used often were in the bottom drawer - sock and pants and dresses. Bigger clothes were kept in a closet, bagged by size.

We have drawer separators in the top dresser/changing table drawer with her headbands, shoes, socks, and rufflebutts/bloomers, nightime diapers, and medicines. Second drawer is stacks of short sleeve onesies, long sleeved onesies, stretch pants, "nice" pants, and jammies. Bottom drawer is crib sheets and swaddle blankets. Her closet is organized with size dividers in the various sizes from (then) newborn to 2T (yep, we have 2T stuff already and shes 8 months old.) And not only that, but its arranged by color. Im a little OCD about clothes arranging. I think because I was a DM for Abercrombie for so long, its engrained in me lol.

I totally expect it to turn into that based on the state of my drawers. But then again my husband is SUPER neat so we'll see.

haha baby's not here yet and I already have 18month clothing. Hey, that's how you get the best deals. Shopping a year/couple season ahead.

I keep changing my system every few months. This is my latest with a 14 month old. In the closet, I have a top row of hanging dresses and jackets that she currently wears and then a second bottom row of the next size up. Bigger sizes and giveaway stuff are in bins at the bottom. Right next to the floor changing area, I have a big bottom drawer that I subdivided: pants, shirts, shorts, skirts and a few favorite go-to onesies. Then I have another little drawer of onesies that are kinda worn or backups but I'm not ready to give them up yet. I also have a little drawer of set outfits (tops I handpicked to match bottoms). So basically the drawers hold outfits, olds, onlies (singles). Hope this helps!! I've done her clothes a million times and keep thinking, there must be a better way. What a great problem to have though. Oh the joy of having a girl.

The only thing that I really do is keep the pajamas in the bathroom with the changing table.

The rest of my son's clothes are all in his room, in an armoire. I keep his current stuff folded and organized according to category (pants, shirts, socks) and then some things are hung.
