LO is two and her hair is getting longer and longer. As we accumulate more clips, bows, flowers and ponytail holders, I am trying to figure out how to keep track of everything.

We don't have pony tail holders yet but I made this for her clips and headbands. I hope I can hang a little container from it to put ponytail holders when she gets enough hair.

I made this for her bows and headbands. I don't know what to do with her ponytail holders though.

@Anagram: I bought the empty frame at Hobby Lobby. DH drilled the hooks in. Then we spray painted it and hot glued the ribbon on.

@Anagram: yeah. I just bought an open frame and hooks and then put them in the bottom.

@Smurfette: did you use anything besides hot glue on the ribbon? I hot glued and stapled gunned and the ribbon is sagging

@sarbear: Nope, just hot glue. I used a lot of glue and made it super tight to begin with. I will have to look at it at home tonight, but I haven't noticed it sagging.

We did a picture frame also. We keep a bin on her bookshelf for the headbands.
I added dangling ribbons from the bottom later for more space.

@Smurfette: hmm. I'm going to have to reglue a few if the ribbons. I think the real problem is, when my husband moved it before we hung it in her room, he set it on something that stretched the ribbons. I was not pleased

@sarbear: Yeah that probably did it. I saw another picture on a blog where they put fabric behind the ribbon. Maybe that would help?

@loveisstrange: @sarbear: @Smurfette: I freaking love this. How long did it take you to make this? Did you paint the frame or buy it the color you wanted? I think that I would love to make one of these for P's room. I am adding it to my list of things to accomplish this year

@bpcmarj: Maybe an hour, with drying time. We added the hooks and then spray painted so they were all the same color.

@bpcmarj: I bought a plain white frame and painted it the pink from her room. And yeah, maybe and hour? Not long at all

@bpcmarj: I bought the frame the way it is. It took me maybe 10 minutes to measure out the ribbon and staple it on. Super fast and easy!

@Smurfette: @sarbear: @loveisstrange: these are so cute! I was thinking about something with ribbons but I don't know if I would have come up with this on my own! Thanks so much for sharing!
