How do you say the word "foyer"?

@Coco Bee: I don't know anyone that says "auntie" (pronounce anty or ahnty) either, but just watch The Wizard of Oz! Dorothy calls her aunt "Auntie Em" pronounced as "Anty Em".

I call all my aunts "auntie". They yell at me if I say "ant". I am strongly informed that they are not insects!

Foy-yay, except around family. It's also "ant" to me. I have two Aunties and quite a few aunts. Auntie Nan is the bestest person ever! And I am "ant" to my US wee ones, and "ahnt" to my English ones.

I guess I say foy-yay (like if I was reading a book aloud) but I never really say that...I just front entry or something.

I say auntie like "anty" mostly referring to friends who are not really aunts...like my best friends kids all call me auntie and my LO will call them auntie but will call her real aunt "aunt"

I used to say foy-yay but everyone calls it a foyer around here so I've switched recently.

I don't. Because I know I'll say it wrong. Just like I never order gyros because I know I'll say it wrong. If I want them I make DH order for me.
