We are in the process of moving and I found a bunch of my fashion jewelry that I never unpacked after the last move. All of my fine jewelry is in a jewelry box but I have no idea how to keep the fashion jewelry organizes. Attached is how it is currently stored.
Any tips?

For the necklaces I wear most frequently, I have these 3 cases in our master bath.
Other necklaces and earrings are on jewelry trees and hooks in another room. I actually need to sort a lot of costume jewelry out too so everything can be in our room. I actually want a pretty standing jewelry chest.

Wow those are both really pretty. I have sooo much though. Maybe I should just throw some of the crappy stuff away.
I also just got the random thought that a craft tupperware might work.

My way isn't pretty.... but I have one of these hanging in my closet. Keeps everything organized and works for me.

I installed a slide-out tie rack in my closet. It's not pretty, but it does keep clutter out of sight.

I have clear craft/bead boxes with different sized compartments. There are smaller squares for rings and earrings, and there are long compartments for necklaces. I think I got them from Michael's.

I have a tall sterilite chest of drawers. The top few deawers are really slim so I have earings and bracelets in one, necklaces in another. They aren't super organized, but most earrings are on the backings from the store.

I have some larger pieces (like bold statement necklaces) that don't fit in the pockets of the hanging organizer, so I have those displayed on a really pretty tray that sits on one of the shelves in my closet.

@shopaholic: Gorgeous storage! I have some nails hammered into the wall above the dressing table and hang necklaces from there.

Wow, so many great options. We just moved into temporary housing while we see where SOs job takes us, so i think the best option is the craft containers but I love some of the other ideas, especially @spaniellove's closet. I cant wait till I rebuild my closet and I can maybe incorporate some of these ideas.

On Rachel Ray this week they had a guy on who suggested using a tie rack for chunky necklaces and a paper towel bar for bangle bracelets. He also thought of using a button to keep pairs of earrings together. Such good ideas!
