I usually use my debit card. I need to start using my credit card so I can rack up points!

Unless I need to use cash for some reason I use our credit card that racks up the most useful points. We used to stick with debit cards but once my husband had the chance to start paying for some expensive stuff for work and then getting reimbursed we made a concerted effort to make the points system work for us. It has been wonderful, we haven't paid for a flight in a few years!

Debit card, unless I have cash and it is only a couple bucks. Anything over $100, I usually put on Discover so we can get the cash back points. Then just pay it off at the end of the month. We save our cash back points all year, then in November redeem for Discover gift cards and that it how we buy most of our Christmas presents.

I always use my debit card. Every time I swipe it a dollar is transferred to our savings account.

Cash or debit lately. We only use our credit cards if it's online shopping or when we're cross border shopping (easier than exchanging currency).

Rewards/points credit card for everything - for the points and the added security.

Debit card, unless its a large purchase and then we use our credit card. Gotta love those airline miles!
I also use my credit card for purchases that are a little more risky... like online or in a sketchy store. That way I know any fraud will be handled by the credit card company without tying up my checking account.

Credit card always! I looove getting the points! DH and I pay off our credit card bills every month though and never carry a balance.

We always use visa so we can rack up rewards points for flights. We flew to Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon on points!

Always debit card. I don't have a credit card (DH has one we use for flights/hotels/ect.) and I very rarely carry more than 20 cash on me.

Credit card, paid off in full every month so we can get points!

Credit card even though the reward points are low and blah, but we always pay it all off each month so it works out. I never have any cash on me.

Debit unless it is a big purchase, because I like the security a CC gives. We run our debit as credit for gas as well. Once our CC is paid off, we plan on using it for everything in order to rack up points

A combo - cash for smaller stuff, groceries, etc. Basically everything besides reoccuring monthly bills. Then a SkyMiles card for our monthly bills, and then we pay it off at the end of the month. We do a modified Dave Ramsey system.

Always credit. We pay it off every month but I'm a total points junkie. DH always uses cash. I never have cash in my wallet.

@Leialou: that's awesome! Is that a reward system or did you set it up that way?

Credit card for the rewards. I always pay it off at the end of the month.

We debit most things and use credit cards for big purchases to rack up points.
