Seriously - this is a question I've been wondering for a while. Even with a thong (which I honestly hate wearing), I still see the lines through the dress.
Please tell me your secret for no-show undies!

I wear something like spanx instead. They go up to below my boobs and down to almost my knee. But it's REALLY rare that I wear a dress that tight (though I would like to find one for a friend's wedding on NYE).

I wear seamless undies and, never have a,problem with lines. They're the satin ones from VS. They were $14 or $16 a pair with no 3 for $33 deal or anything, but I broke down and bought enough for the workweek.
I also have spanx slips.

Thong. It might show a little but no one is looking at my butt these days!
Shapewear is too uncomfy for me!

@bpcmarj: same- spanx, but you aren't likely to find me in anything that tight anyway.

@Mrs. Champagne: They have one size fits all at VS?? Does it really fit well?

Maidenform's boyshort undies. They are hideous, but way more comfortable for me than Spanx or a thong and really don't show lines. I got them after some fashion guru on Oprah told me to.

Spanx is the best, and I actually just got some new completely seamless panties (at least, they are for me). DKNY fusion line... I was doubtful but today I'm wearing then under pants I would normally wear a thong or spanx for, and there is absolutely no show through.

Either Spanx/shapewear or the VS thongs with the thick lace waist. There's another brand that makes them too but I'm drawing a blank on the name now...

Lace thong! (Vs). The lace is thick and does not dig in. It just lays on your hips and you can barely feel it. No way anyone can see it.

I swear by Target's Gilligan O' Malley's Modal line. Super comfy and they feel amazing! No panty lines ever! They make a variety of cuts so pick your choice!

@BabyBoecksMom: another vote for the Lacie thong at VS. I wear them everyday too! Love that I already had them pre-pregnancy, because I haven't had to buy "pregnant" underwear! Win-win!

Another vote for lace thongs. The ones from Target are of the same quality as the ones at VS, and I wear them, daily.
