Just curious. Do you wear your engagement ring or wedding ring closest to your palm?

Wedding ring closer. I've honestly never seen someone with 2 rings wear it another way (besides having just 1 ring or a matching wedding band on both side of an e-ring).

I have two wedding bands, so I wear one on either side of my engagement ring. I almost always see the wedding band closest to the palm on other people, though!

@Mrs.KMM: Looks like I do wear mine the more common way. I swear I saw three people today with engagement rings in and I started to wonder if I had gone nuts and accidentally flipped mine.

That's how it's "supposed" to be- the wedding band is closest to your heart. (And the wedding band is the more important symbol). Plus I think it looks better that way.
I've seen a handful of people do it the other way and think it looks odd. But whatever.

I have a band on both sides. Before I got my second band I wore the wedding band closest to my palm.

I am the same as @greentea. Engagement ring is the only one I wear (we never did a wedding band, just used my engagement ring for the ceremony)

My wedding band basically completed a set with my engagement ring, and they are sauldered together, so I can no longer tell which is which. So probably different ways at different times, but no one would know.

I have the engagement ring closer to my palm, I'm pretty sure that's not traditional but it seems logical to me as I got it first! Also the engagement ring is a tiny bit bigger and could do with the help staying on my finger.

@Foodnerd81: that's what I was going to say! I worked in Jewelry retail for years (Charm Diamond Centres), and I always told my brides this if they asked or if it came out naturally in conversation.
We always reminded our brides to move their engagement ring to the other hand before the ceremony to make room, and then you could switch it back later to hold the wedding ring in place.

I have matching bands on either side. Sometimes I just wear one and the band is always closer to my palm.

Wedding band closest to palm. DH got me a second band for our anniversary so now I wear it band, engagement ring, band.

Engagement ring closest to my palm, therefore they are on my finger in chronological order. To me it looks strange the other way around.

I don't have an engagement ring. I always wonder if I'm the only one! My two SILs both wear their engagement rings on the inside.

I wear mine on different hands.
I have a small diamond band that I began wearing when we had our civil ceremony. 6 months later, I added a wide band at our wedding/vow renewal.
Then, I have my engagement ring on my right hand, with three small gold rings my husband gave me when we were dating.
It's a random set up, but it's become my signature.

I have two separate rings that can't be worn on the same finger. If I'm wearing both, I have my engagement ring on the left hand and wedding ring on the right.

Engagement ring goes on first, looks dumb the other way around with my set.

@tofuwad: You're not the only one! I had a family ring that I wore while we were engaged, but solitaires are not really my thing, so I stopped wearing it after the wedding.

@tofuwad: Well, you might not have an engagement ring but I don't have a wedding band! I keep hinting at DH that I'd like one finally, though.

When I wear it, I wear (from Palm to tip) my anniversary band, my engagement ring, and my wedding band. I hardly ever wear my engagement ring, so it's usually anniversary band and then the wedding band. My engagement ring and anniversary band are slightly too big and the jeweler can't make it any smaller, so my wedding band keeps everything in place.

Engagement ring closer to my palm. Honestly, I wear them that way so I don't lose my engagement ring, since it would be so much more costly to replace. They are both a little bit too big and I have a tendency to fidget with them so occasionally I pull my wedding ring right off or even drop it on the ground. Once I am done with pregnancies, I will finally get them resized.
