DS woke up shortly before 6. He's now playing his play kitchen that we obviously didn't wrap. We're trying to let DH sleep in because he was up until 2:45 assembling aforementioned play kitchen!! Luckily DS is happy to just play with that right now, no rush to open gifts yet.

@petunia354: Ha ha, was it a Kidcraft one? I remember my DH working until the wee small hours assembling one last year

It's 8am here and both girls are still sleeping. They only got to bed at like 10pm last night so I'm thinking I've got another 30 minutes of sleep at least. All the adults are up waiting for the kids

5:40!!!!

6:30...we stayed upstairs till 7ish then came down to skype with one set of grandparents, then opened Santa sacks. Waiting for bacon (grandpas cooking) and we'll eat and open the rest! We like to space things out

DD was up at 6 with DH and DS woke up at 6:45. We were happy with that!

It's 745 and they're still asleep! We've been sick this week so they've been sleeping in but DH and I are just twiddling our thumbs waiting lol

@delight: it's tradition to wake a toddler at midnight?! I would never!

Love all these kiddos sleeping in and giving their parents a break!

Everyone stayed in bed until almost 8 here. The baby would have slept longer probably but the toddler was awake and we wanted to see her reaction to all the presents.

7 am but that's normal here!

@Astro Bee: We were allowed to open our stockings before mom got up too, infact, we weren't allowed to wake her up until we'd had breakfast and opened them, lol.

5:15 over here! So early. Hubby went back to bed after we opened presents.

The almost 3yo and the newborn both slept until 9am! It was a late night last night, so it felt especially glorious

LO slept until 9. But then, she's three weeks old, so I'm not sure she's caught the excitement of the holidays.

5:35am. let me just point out that we don't even celebrate christmas...

Blake slept through the night (!!!) and woke up at his usual 6:15. Poor Alice was up for 2.5 hrs in the middle of the night screaming, so once I finally got her down she was exhausted. We finally woke her up at 8 so we could take Blake downstairs. He was tired of being cooped up in our room, but I didn't want to go downstairs and have him open all the presents without her!

I didn't think LO was old enough to get the whole "wake up early for Santa" thing, but she was up at about 6:30am (early for her!) and said right away, "He come down the chimney?"

She's down for a nap now. Hoping it's a nice long one! We were up until 2am finishing wrapping and assembling.

7:30. She went to bed really late, and woke up twice last night, so I was hoping she would sleep in some. At least she took a 2.5 hr nap.

It was a late night last night so he slept in til about 8:15. Perfect!

A little after 7. She went to bed at 6:45 because I told her Santa wouldn't come til she was asleep so she said she was tired lol. So pretty good!
