1 hour plane ride, then a 12 hour plane ride, then a 3.5 hour plane ride. plus a few thousand $$ worth of tickets and lost wages for DH. so, I'd say sufficiently far

I live with my inlaws (urgh) So moving any distance away from them will make me feel better! I seriously can't wait to move out!

about 40 minutes away. They pop in every now and then which is nice because they always bring us food.

My in-laws live a skip and a hop away... literally. They're in the room next to ours! At first I dreaded the idea of my in-laws moving in with us (not because we have a bad relationship, but because who wants to live with their in-laws??!), but it's actually been such a blessing in disguise. The help they provide with the babies keep us sane. They're also very respectful about how we choose to raise our children and aren't overbearing. We have a great relationship.

About two miles away! We get along well with them so I think it's a great distance

My in-laws live about 20 minutes away depending on traffic and come to watch little one 2 days a week. My folks live about 3 minutes away. We love having our families close - we know we're spoiled.
