About half an hour. I grew up in a suburb of Toronto, and now I'm living in a town just outside Toronto.

grew up in Hong Kong and living in atlanta georgia right now. 12 hours difference.

An hour from home! Just far enough that my parents don't try to visit all the time, but close enough that we can visit whenever we want.

1300 miles. I do fantasize about going back to Michigan, but it hasn’t worked out yet. And we have a pretty great life in Austin, so I can’t really complain.

About 45 minutes. I grew up in a suburb of Dallas and live in a different suburb of Dallas now.

9 hours away. Close enough that we can drive there to visit but far enough that my family isn't pestering us all the time. I love my family but I really love the distance. I think we'd kill each other if we lived in the same state

We live directly next to DH's family... in the house his grandpa lived in, so he has moved 0 miles.

Far West Texas super small town to urban area just outside NYC. Bigger move in terms of culture than in terms of miles.
My husband grew up in South Asia and now lives here after a stint in Oklahoma and Dallas.

13 miles! We're right in between my parents and my in-laws...about a 30 minute drive to each.

Over 600 miles. But my parents split time between our current city and my hometown so that's really nice! Their apartment here is about a 15 car ride with no traffic, but usually more like 30

9 minute drive, which I NEVER in a million years thought I would do. I lived away from home from when I was 18 to 37.

3.5 hours - still close enough for weekend trips to see family and for them to visit.
