Our 3yo recently got really into puzzles! We need to get her simpler puzzles though... she keeps trying to solve her brother's tough puzzles, and needs help from us to do so.
How is your LO at solving puzzles?

She's going through a puzzle obsession right now. She's not quite 3 yet, and can complete 24-piece jigsaw puzzles alone. She can get about 75% of the way through a 48 piece before needing help, usually w/the edge.

She loves them! Since May when she moved up to the next class at school and she has puzzles. She does lots of 24 and 48 piece ones on her own and needs some help with the bigger ones. It is so fun to watch her little brain work! She was 3 in December.
@mrbee: we liked the melissa and Doug boxed sets of 4 12 piece puzzles to get started with and our bigger melissa and Doug ones have held jp well!

She is determined and really focused when it comes to puzzles. She's 22 months and loves 12 piece Melissa and Doug jigsaw puzzles. She'll only do them when she thinks I'm not watching her. If I agree to do puzzles with her she dumps out her progress and pretends like she can't do it.

She loves them, but not the ones that have flat edges--like the ones that just sit next to each other and don't actually fit together. She likes to be able to click the pieces together.

LO is 33 months old and looooves puzzles. She has been playing with 12-35 piece puzzles for a few months now, and does them on her own once she gets the hang of it. I haven't been able to find any 48piece puzzles...just jumps from 35 to 60!
@mrbee I re-read one of the old puzzle blog posts and laughed at the part where you were trying to get Charlie to do the edges and corners first because that's exactly what I did!

Sadie is 23 months, and is a puzzle freak. She got a bunch of Disney wooden 12 and 24-piece puzzles for Christmas that she LOVES. Also, when she has tablet time, instead of playing any of her "fun" games, she's always doing puzzles. In fact, most of her apps are now puzzle apps.
