DH and I were lazy getting ready for the baby (plus he slept in our room for 3+ months).
Right now, the camera for his monitor is sitting on a bookshelf across from his crib. But that makes it hard to see *him* at night (the night vision "focuses" on the crib slats) and he's started moving more (this morning he was turned 90 degrees from how I set him down)
So I think we obviously need to mount the camera above the crib.
Did you do this by using the screw hole in the camera? Command strips in case you needed to reposition it? A tiny shelf meant just for monitor cameras? A decorative wall shelf?
