LO got her first tooth a few weeks ago, and I see no signs the other is close. Google tells me most come up within days of each other. What was the experience with your LOs?

My son cut both of his bottom front teeth in the same day. But I'm pretty sure hes part shark. First 2 @ 4 months, 6 @ 6 months, 10 @ 8 months, 12 @ 10 months and that is when I stopped obsessively checking because I weaned him at 10 1/2 months.

With DS1, they were about a month apart - with DS2, they came in within a couple days of each other.

DD1 - Probably within the same month
DD2 - They pretty much erupted together

DS - about 10 days/2 weeks apart
DD - about 2 days apart (FWIW, she started teething super early. she had 6 teeth by 8/8.5 months)

First 2 were within a day or two. Actually he got his first 4 teeth within a week, and his first 6 teeth within maybe 2 weeks.
Tooth 7 arrived about a month later. Tooth 8 took 3 more months(!!!) to arrive.

@codeitall: There is some truth to it too. My uncle knocked out my dads baby front teeth, then the same uncle knocked out my dad's adult front teeth, and now my dad is on his 3rd set of front teeth. Hopefully I don't ever have to find out if he will get a 3rd set or not.

My LO did three bottom ones right after another... the fourth took like a month to come in (drove me up the wall he was lopsided) and a couple months for the top ones to come in too. Some kiddos like being different

My daughter’s came up basically together but my son had one tooth for a long time - at least a month. His never acted in pairs which i thought was weird!

My DD2 got her first tooth at 8.5 months (bottom left) and then didn’t get her second tooth until after her first birthday (top left) and then third a few weeks later (bottom right) and now another couple of weeks later, her 4th (top right). Such a strange pattern!

For both my kids it was 0-2 days for both top and bottom. DD1 got all 4 within a week I think.

months apart. but my LO's teeth are also coming in totally out of order. she has 4 top teeth, 2 bottom teeth, and molars coming in! she has all these gaps now

I think it was two or three weeks tops, I don't remember either kid having one tooth for long.
@Sams Mom: what? How did that happen? And then the third teeth grew in?!
@Meso: DD's teeth came in all out of order too! It was so weird and I totally gave up trying to find any pattern. And then she had all the teeth except one incisor by like 18 months. That one last tooth took another half year to show up!

@Mama Bird: they have no idea! My grandma was MAD at my uncle and told him he WILL pay for whatever fake teeth or bridge or whatever they would have put in because he was only 18 at the time. Well a month or so later another set grew in. 🤷♀️

@Mama Bird: it is so weird! she showed signs of teething, but i didn't see the incisors coming in and was so confused why it seemed like she was teething... then i looked in her mouth when she was crying one day and thought she had a sore on her gums in the back... i looked closer and saw it was a molar!
