I am just now starting the mini pill as my little one turns 15 months.
Should I be on a regular pill now? I am still breastfeeding.

I was on it and my Ob told me to call when I dropped to 2 nursing sessions. I havent been able to get in with her bit I assume she would have put me back on regular pill. So sorry, I don't have any pros cons yet...

@T-Mom: thanks. That's helpful. I'm still doing two nursing sessions. So I guess it can't hurt to take it but I do need to get in to see a docotor

My doc put me on it at 6 weeks. It seems fine but LO is now 11 mos and i havent got AF yet. I told her i planned to daywean/stop pumping at a year and she said at that point i should go back to the regular pill because there wont be enough protection from BF. So it sounds like you might want to talk to your doc...mine just said to call when ready and she could change it without a visit...
