I'm only 3 weeks along, but I'm having cramps and wondering how long this lasts for most women. I know it's normal, but it's still worrisome.

I'm 17 weeks and still cramp. The doctor has assured me not to worry unless I double over in pain or I start bleeding. This did NOT happen with LO1 so it's so new to me and I hate feeling worried about every little cramp. Hang in there.

Until about 10 weeks then they went away until later.

The whole first trimester and then they came back for the third trimester. I worried a lot about them in the beginning but my ob assured me that they're normal and unless you also have bleeding that there's nothing to worry about.

I'm freaking out about this, too. Sometimes I'm not even sure if I should call what's happening "cramps"--sometimes it is, but sometimes it's just discomfort/feels like gas. Thanks for posting--good to know I'm not the only one! (I'm 5w1d.)

I'm 22w and still get cramps. They're normal. Your body is growing and stretching!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: This is what my husband says to me. I'm all like "at 5 weeks? Nothing can be happening yet at 5 weeks!" and then I remember how crazy awesome it is to grow a baby and reassure myself that TONS of things are happening at 5 weeks. Thanks for popping in!

I am 17 weeks and still getting them off and on. DTD definitely caused some in the early days which was nerve wracking but everything was fine.

I had them the WHOLE TIME - but it was esp bad during first tri.

I had them until about 9 weeks. Weren't painful, just felt like stretching kind of? I actually liked them and thought of it as the baby burrowing in. It was reassuring to know that things were happening!

I had cramps between like 4-5 weeks, pretty bad ones too. I was def horrified but HB, internet and my OB said cramping is very normal... Just think about how many things are going on in there!

A lot! It's normal but obviously scary.
