i'm not very good at styling hair, at all, it used to take me forever with my long hair. i just showered and ten minutes later, it's dry and done! i love my new short hair! i'm gonna save so much time, and shampoo & conditioner. i'm super excited about this change!

I am terrible at styling my own hair, I never really learned how to dry it properly.
I got an American Wave this summer and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I just wash my hair, towel dry it and scrunch in some curl cream. It air dries.

After showering, about 20-30 minutes to blow dry and lightly straighten (to smooth). 45 minutes to dry/curl it, or 5-10 minutes to put mousse in and let it air dry

I comb it and tie it in to a pony tail most days (I don't even blow dry it). My hair is very long so it takes me maybe 7-10 minutes to comb it.

Most of the time I just brush it into a ponytail or pull it into a messy bun...so like 2-3 minutes?
When I'm making an effort with it I'll take 10 minutes to blow dry it and 10-15 minutes to either loosely curl or straighten it.

@mrs. bird: I probably don't spend enough time. Already so rushed in the morning that I always choose makeup over hair and then end up with a ponytail. Sigh. Do you have before and after hair pics that you shared somewhere??

Probably 20-25 minutes? I blow dry it in sections, and then straighten it in sections.

Probably 5-8 minutes. It's thin and straight, so I just blow dry it and then I'm good to go! Sometimes I put it up or do something with my bangs, but that only ads about 30 seconds.

If I leave it curly, I have to take a shower in the morning because I can't sleep on it and expect it to not look crazy the next day. If that happens, then I get out the shower and put some anti frizz stuff in it and I'm good to go. So less than 5 minutes.
If I straighten it (which is 90% of the time), then I take a shower at night and let it air dry. In the morning, it takes about 10-15 minutes to straighten.

After a shower, probably 20-30 minutes. I blow dry with a round brush and straighten it a little. That's all I know how to do with it! Haha

@mrs. bird: I don't do it because I'm so bad at it that it comes out gross no matter how hard I try. So i'd say if I spent a full 60 seconds on it--that's a big day.

Aside from shampooing and whatnot in the shower, probably a maximum of 5 minutes to apply some gel and put it back into some kind of updo or half-up-half-down. It air dries.

My hair has gotten pretty long. It grows fast and pregnancy has super charged it. It's medium-fine and straight. I wash it, condition it, comb it, blow dry it, and run a flat iron through it on an average day when I wash it. About 15 minutes total. I don't do it all at once so I can't be sure. Lol
On days I don't wash it I configure it into a ponytail which takes about 5 minutes.
