I've wondered the same thing. It's nice to see you are still active even with a new baby.

I agree with @Mae ... I'll be here until I'm not. This is the longest I've ever participated in something online though. I will admit I feel oddly attached to my due date twin ladies - I imagine it's how soldiers feel after combat, if you replace wartime with morning sickness and constipation.

Hopefully long enough to participate in parenting boards. One day.

I don't know. I think that there's different waves in HB: ttc, pregnancy, newborn, infant, toddler, school age. It feels like you go through the waves mostly with the same people, so I think I'll be here awhile. I know that some of my original due date twins now have second LOs while others are still thinking about #2. Also, I think the discussions will change when a bunch of the kids get to be school aged. I envision more school aged discussions in the future.

I'd like to think I will stick around. I stopped going on WB pretty much immediately after my wedding, but this sort of website lasts with you longer as you grow as parents. Since this is my first LO, I anticipate being here for a while.

I guess I'll be here until I don't feel like it adds value to my life. It definitely does now.

I love Hello Bee for TTC purposes. And I imagine I will love it when I have a fussy infant and don't know what to do! But once the kids get older, I can't imagine what I will need HelloBee for.

I think it will be a lot like Weddingbee was... Lurking while hoping to get engaged, active while planning and just after, finally breaking away when its been too long!

So in HB terms: lurking while waiting, active when TTC, pregnant, and parenting a small child(ren). Then when it seems that my kid(s) are past the average age around here, I'd probably fade away.

Hopefully a long time. I'm pretty loyal when it comes to my forums. There was one I posted on for years, though, and haven't been on for a few months now. It's dedicated to a totally different subject but does have some TTC/pregnancy/parenting threads, but they were pretty dead while I was pregnant. Add in some fractiousness and the departure of a few of my favorite posters there, and it just wasn't a happy and relevant place. HB pretty much supplanted it, though I may eventually start posting there again. But I have no plans to leave HB anytime soon!
