I always make fun of DH because it takes him at least 40 minutes to get ready for work. I do not know what takes him so long. This is pretty long to me because it doesn't take me much longer than that to get ready and I have to put on make-up and blow dry my hair!
ETA - and I am not even counting collecting his wallet, keys and various other junk from around the house. This is just 40 minutes for bathroom time plus getting his clothes on.

Takes Rob Sr. about 15 minutes to get ready in the morning.
The trips back into the house for the forgotten wallet, keys, etc. take probably another 20 mins 
I take longer to get ready, but I'm ALWAYS standing at the door with my coat and shoes on waiting for him to zip back and forth between different areas of the house and the doorway!

My DH takes SUCH LONG SHOWERS! I always laugh because I feel like I have more area to cover when it comes to shaving, longer steps with my hair, etc! After showering he is pretty quick but he does love to dress up almost always, which kicks my butt in gear to always wear clothes that match the formality of his even when I want to wear a zip up

DH takes longer showers than me (we usually shower at the same time, but his is ALWAYS still running when I get out) and I have hair to wash and he's bald! But post shower, he usually beats me.

I think if I had him timed he would get ready in like 5 minutes. He is FAST! I swear he turns on the shower rinses off and is done....but I know that's not the case because it seems like he goes through more shampoo and soap than I do!!

About 30 minutes if he wakes up on time and isn't in a complete rush! Could be as quick as maybe 10-15 minutes. He has to bring a lot of stuff to and from work!

If he's being quick, 15 minutes to shower, brush his teeth, and get dressed. When he takes his sweet time showering it could be as much as 45 minutes.

My DH takes about the same amount of time as I do, 30-40 minutes. It's hard to quantify though since we make coffee and watch the news together, then I go put on makeup/blowdry while he makes our lunch and surfs the internet. I think it takes him a while to do his hair, it sticks straight out so it's difficult for him to style.
If he has a wardrobe crisis though (meaning he doesn't like any of his clothing options) it can take over an hour. I have to talk him off the ledge and convince him he looks great in whatever just so we can leave!

If my husband gets in the shower right when I get out, he will still beat me and be dressed and ready before I am. And all I do postshower is lotion, scrunch and blowdry my hair (like, maybe 5 minutes, tops!), put on makeup and get dressed. I don’t know how he does it.

Getting dressed for him is probably less than 5 min. But he spends 30 - 45 minutes in the shower every morning. And he refuses to get in the shower more than 30 min before we need to leave, so we're often 15 or so minutes late to wherever we're going. Drives me crazy!

It takes my hubs 5 minutes to get ready but he wastes time! Whenever we have to go anywhere, I give him a 45-minute warning. He says, "Okay, okay, okay" and then 15 minutes later, I'll yell, "We have to leave in 30 minutes!" and he says, "okay, okay, okay," Then 6 minutes before we have to leave I lose my mind and hubs gets scared and is able to get ready in the last 5 minutes. DRIVES ME NUTS.

usually about 10 minutes to really "get ready" but then it takes him an additional 10 minutes to locate all of his stuff (wallet, keys, cellphone) LOL-- drives me crazy!

Hubby goes from the bed to clean and dressed in about 10 minutes, 20-25 if he has to shave. Shaving is the only thing that takes him awhile because he has this whole routine where he starts with oil, then shaving cream on a brush, etc.

He takes the longest showers ever. I spied once and he was literally just standing there. Once he is out of the shower though , he is quick.

My husband takes SUCH LONG showers, too. And he likes to take 2 a day, but I gripe about the waste of water lol. I think it's just relaxing for him to stand under the hot water.
I can be ready in 15 minutes if needed, he needs at LEAST 30-40. He's higher maintenance than I am but he would never admit that :D.

My hubby is pretty slow. I feel like he has to just stand there and do nothing for at least 15 minutes each morning, because I can't imagine what takes him so long. Not that I care though... more time for him to be home with me

@andrea: does he take a long shower or poop? lol i think my hubby spends like 20 min just taking a poop. if he's not in a rush, i think it takes him about 5 min to think about what he's going to wear (he pretty much has to dress up most days).... takes about 10 min to eat, sometimes longer if he's looking at news or something... hmmm. he may take about 40 min or so to get ready too haha.

@tequiero21: ahahahahaha! Yes, it is a 20 min poop! I thought maybe it was TMI to say that but since you asked I will confirm! I told DH that almost everyone gets ready quicker than him and he told me ask about pooping. I said that I can't possibly start another poop thread!

@Andrea: HAHAHA! men and their poops. i literally take 2 minutes or less? to poop. what the heck are they doing in there! there's your answer! hahahaha. i think if any guy takes a poop in the morning, that's 20-30 min of "getting ready"....
