Just a bit of advice needed. To make a long story short, at the beginning of the summer I asked for a raise, which was pretty quickly verbally agreed upon both by HR and the management of my department. It's been about 8-10 weeks since then and I have yet to see the raise reflected in my pay. My direct supervisor has followed up a lot, and doesn't get a lot of information. I know the raise had to be approved by a few different departments so the feedback she gets from HR is usually something like "XYZ department is reviewing."

Personally, I feel like 8-10 weeks is excessive for something that was originally treated like it was not a big deal, but I have also never asked for a non-competitive raise before so I really don't know how long these kinds of things usually take. Any advice on how I should handle this? I am pretty much ready to go in with an ultimatum.
