I'm curious to see how quickly people were able to conceive and whether they were charting in any way...most people I know have been very lucky right off the bat, but I do know a couple friends who went through several rounds of IVF.
I have great respect for people who adopt, as well - there are a lot of kids out there that need loving parents. I only wish my DH was more open to that.

First cycle, but I was off of BC and charting for 6 months before we started TTC, so I knew my cycles pretty well.

About 2 months for us. The first month we knew we probably missed our chance because our wedding was just after ovulation, the next month we actually tried and it worked.

We're at a year now. Got pregnant on cycle three, miscarried, got pregnant again on the sixth cycle after m/c and m/c again. Hopefully third time is a charm!

We weren't really trying yet. The next was through adoption, so very intentional, but we were told the wait would be 12-18 months and it was 2!

We were extremely blessed in that we got pregnant our first cycle of NTNP. I had been off of BC for over 6 months and we were a bit more intentional the month we conceived.

I want to say
1st try
& 6-12m at the same time
This is because, I came off of BC and doctor said it would be 6m before ovulating again. So, we still tried for those 6m but knew it wasn't likely to happy. Exactly 6m after stopping BC, I ovulated! And we got pregnant with the first ovulation since BC.

It took us 3 months to get pregnant with our daughter. Sadly, we lost her at 20 weeks. We are currently pregnant with our 2nd child (hopefully a sticky one) that took us about 9 months to get.

1st month off BC, I got pregnant but then miscarried. Then got pregnant with my son on the 2nd cycle of trying again. so it took us over 6 months to become pregnant with my sticky baby.

I stopped my BCP, and got pregnant that same month. I was meaning to change BCP, not get pregnant. But I can't imagine life without my LO now.

Stopped BCP in February 2011, missed the window for Feb and Mar, started charting in July, got our BFP January 2012.
So all up twelve months, but more like ten cycles of actively trying.

Still trying. Stopped BC in Dec 2010. We had some breaks and unsuccessful attempts... 10 cycles of actively trying that resulted in TWW. Waiting too long for a family. 
We'll get there at some point.

I started paying a ton of attention to cm and used an app to help narrow down my O window. We got KU our first try. We are lucky. My side of the family has always been super lucky like that. Call us insanely fertile?

Two cycles "not trying" two cycles "trying". It's still weird tome that you can "not try" for a baby. I think sex ed really convinced me that unprotected sex would lead to pregnancy immediately.

I didn't vote... We got pregnant our first month pulling the goalie... but miscarried and we haven't conceived since. It's been 5 months since our m/c and 4 cycles"trying" without charting.
