I have an extremely long commute... 1.5 hours each way! I have been doing this since December and it is really tough. Thankfully, we 're planning a move much closer to my work (mainly because we like the area, but it helps that it's closer to my job) but I spend about 15+ hours a week in the car 
And that equates to almost 2 tanks of gas a week!

45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. DH and I ride together most of the time and he always drives. So it isn't too terrible.

I am sorry. We like the town because our commutes are less than 10 minutes. Of course if we actually want to do something (shopping, eating out at a nice place) we have to drive at least an hour and a half. But that is much less frequent than work.

I feel your pain. My commute is one hour in the morning with no traffic and 2-3 hours in the afternoon in traffic. Luckily, I recently started working 3 days a week from home so I only commute twice a week!

10-15 minutes each way. Hubs is longer though 2-3 hours each way depending on traffic. He will usually work from home 2-3 days out of the week though so I guess it evens out!

If I take DART (aka light rail), its about 45 minutes with a 15 minute drive to the station. If I drive, it's about 1.5 hours. One way.

During the school year, my commute is 45 minutes. During the summer, my job is a 5 minute drive and it seems sooo nice.

Wow some of you have super long commutes! Mine is 15-20mins city driving, DH's is 35-45 all highway.

35-45 on a normal day. Can be 60+ if traffic is really bad. I go in earlier and leave earlier so I beat most of it.

Mine is 20-30 minutes in the am and 30-40 minutes in the pm unless it's winter...then it could be as bad as 2 hours. We live 12 miles from work, but any snow (or rain sometimes) really slows things down.

8 miles...about a 10 minute drive. i can't believe i used to live in the suburbs of a large city, it would take 20-30 to go the same distance! my husband lives 80 miles away during the week because he can't commute everyday. i am ready for him to be closer!

Two weeks ago, it was 45 minutes. We moved! Now it's 15 minutes TOPS. I feel like I have an hour of my life back every day. It's awesome.

It used to be 1.5 hours each way. Now that I am a SAHM it's a 1 min trip down the stairs to the main floor. LOL
No, seriously, I'm going to start looking for jobs again soon and the criteria is closer to home for more money!

I can't imagine being in the car that long for work commute! I'm less than 10 mins to work but stop by my mom's to drop LO off, which is only a 10 min drive.
