@autumnlove: Oh myyyyyy! I always thought my commute sucked.
Mine is 70 minutes. But it feels like longer.

14 minutes! It is actually super close to my house, but I have to go through a million lights and slow traffic.

@Ash: So Cal freeways suck...but I only do it twice a week! I don't know how I did it 5 days a week before...one hour to work with no traffic and 2-2.5 hours to get home. Barf.

@autumnlove: 5x a week would make me throw myself into the ocean! I'd come home so stressed!
My commute isn't from traffic... It's distance.

@autumnlove: what is your commute on the 5,10, or 405? that is long and crappy..don't miss So cal traffic.
My commute is 10 to 15 mins.

@BabyMats: it depends on my mood...almost all of them!

It takes about 20 minutes in the morning, but 40 in the afternoon due to more traffic and a stupidly designed bus route.

@autumnlove: no fun..how I don't miss any of those freeways ESPECIALLY the 405 & 10

It used to be 1.5 to 2 hours (each way). Now it's 20 minutes and it has been the BEST change I've ever made!!

10 mins on Fridays (I work at a small office close to home) and and hour twenty minutes each way the other four days (in our main office). No traffic generally so it's not awful.

Across the street for one office, 25 miles/30 min for our other office. Not bad at all.

About an hour if I drive but I prefer taking the bus because I don't have to stress about being late or dealing with traffic. Bus commute is about 1 hr and a half. I like being able to get a nap before work, too.

30 minutes in the morning and 50-70 minutes from work to daycare on the way home.

Depends on my location...can be 20 minutes by car or 1.5 hours by public transport.

Just changed jobs because of it! It used to be 45 min AM / 1hr15min PM. Now it's 15 min AM / 25 min PM. It's made a world of difference for me!

varies depending on the office. My home office is about 20 mins AM/30 mins PM without traffic. Long weekends like today is 15 mins AM/1.5 hours PM.
If I'm heading to other offices it could be as long as a 3 hour drive or a 2 hour flight one way.

Mine is about 10-15 minutes. It's especially nice when I get out of work at 8am. So tired!

@MrsTiz: yup - I'm a nurse in an ICU. Someone's gotta be there overnight! I either work 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a, but that often means after 8. I'm so grateful for my short commute on those days!

I work at home, so like 45 steps from the bedroom to my home office :-).

In the AM (with daycare drop off) my commute is a full hour. In the PM without daycare pickup, it is only 15 minutes!
